Limited edition: 127 pages, colour collotype frontispiece, colour vignette on the title page and 38 sepia illustrations, bound in white cloth (a variant binding not recorded in Cock-A-Hoop: A Bibliography of the Golden Cockerel Press (1976) with a gilt Golden Cockerel device on the upper cover and gilt titling on the spine, pink endpapers with tape stain at the corners, book plate on the front free endpaper, signed by the artist on the half title page, contents crisp.

The colophon reads, Printed in Great Britain and designed by Sir William Russell Flint.

One Hundred and Eleven Poems by Robert Herrick has been produced for subscribers by the Golden Cockerel Press. The paper has been hand-made and specially watermarked by Arthur Millbourn and Company. The water colour paintings and the crayon drawings have been reproduced by colour-collotype at the Chiswick Press, London and the type was set and printed by the Baynard Press, London.The edition is limited to 550 numbered copies, of which numbers 1-105 have been bound in white alum-tanned sheepskin and are accompanied by eight extra plates. Numbers 105-550 are bound in cream parchment with blue cloth boards. Copy Number 523 (The colophon is not signed by Russell Flint)
