Boards sound with minor wear at spine head/corners. Some sporadic internal marks. Netting on front hinge just starting to show.

The official first-edition guide to the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition (VSKhV, later VDNKh), which opened in Moscow on 1 August 1939 — a vast permanent "garden city" of Stalinist-era pavilions showcasing Soviet agricultural achievement by republic and by sector grain, cotton, livestock, viticulture, mechanization, and more). Contains Molotov's opening speech, the founding law establishing the exhibition, and descriptions of every pavilion, alongside portraits of Lenin, Stalin, and Molotov and quotations from Lenin (1919) and Stalin (1939) printed in red.
