One needs to turn to p 3 of the main paper to find "Mafeking Relieved. British Police Enter Town. London Jubilant." Pp 6/7 are filled with "Mafeking Diary". P 30 has "The Story of the Siege"; "Baden-Powell and his Dauntless Band"; "Colonel Kekewich's Despatch"; as well as a paragraph: "In honour of the relief of Mafeking, the Supreme Court will be closed today."

This complete copy of the newspaper has 4 pp of salmon-coloured advertising wraps (fair condition); a 2 pp photographic supplement (including "The Boer Prisoners at St Helena - General and Mrs Cronje", "Scenes in the Free State" and "Stamping out the Rebellion in the Aliwal North District") (good condition); and the 32 pp main newspaper, dominated by "The War Day By Day" and, in particular, all the news from Mafeking (very good condition).
