Sydney Sipho Sepamla (1932 – 2007) was a South African poet and novelist. He published several volumes of poetry and novels. He received the Thomas Pringle Award (1977) and the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for his writing. More recently in democratic South Africa he was a member of the government's Arts and Culture Task Group. Mzwakhe Mbuli (born 1959) is a South African poet, Mbaqanga singer and former Deacon at Apostolic Faith Mission Church in Naledi Soweto, South Africa. Known as "The People's Poet, Tall Man, Mbulism, The Voice Of Reason", he is the father of Mzwakhe Mbuli Junior, also known as ‘Robot_Boii’. (wikipedia.com)
Condition: Overall very good. Light rubbing to covers, more so to covers of ‘Before Dawn’, which also has a small open tear to top corner of rear cover. Both books have bookplates of Warren Siebrits, designed by SA artist William Kentridge. Slight wear to spine of ‘Before Dawn’. Texts are clean, and both volumes are tightly bound.
